Republic Agency for Postal Services (RAPUS) is an independent regulatory body that performs activities in accordance with the Law on Postal Services, respecting the principles of competition in the postal market, preventing the monopoly and enabling all operators on the territory of the Republic of Serbia to provide postal services.
RAPUS is an independent legal entity whose work is not influenced by any state institution or other organization performing postal activity.
The Agency is managed by the five-member Board of Directors appointed and dismissed by the National Assembly. The Agency is represented by the President of the Board.
RAPUS started to operate on February 1, 2010.
